Emma is a highly skilled psychologist with over 20 year’s experience seeing a range of presentations including perimenopause, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression and trauma. Emma works eclectically utilising a range of treatment modalities including EMDR, DBT, ACT and CBT. She uses a holistic approach to treatment which not only addresses the effects of trauma and parenting, but also recognises the benefits of mindfulness, nutrition and exercise on mental health.

She combines her extensive dietetic experience in the NHS, private practice & higher education sectors to provide support & guidance to student & graduate dietitians. She leverages her experience to influence the future of dietetics through providing mentorship and innovative educational practice based learning opportunities to advance the dietetic profession and foster the growth of upcoming competent and compassionate dietitians.

With over 30 years of experience in nursing, midwifery and clinical research, Jo brings evidence-based, holistic menopause/perimenopause treatment choices to women that are uniquely tailored to them.
As a prescriber, Jo recognises the value of lowest effective doses of medications e.g. hormone replacement, while also adding lifestyle changes and health prevention strategies to reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases.

Menopause Educator, Yoga Teacher & Positive Psychology Practitioner, For The Pause
With degrees in Psychology and Public Relations, and a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology, Jess brings together science, movement, and mindset to help people navigate menopause with clarity and compassion. Jess is a Mental Health Aware 400hr Yoga Teacher registered with Yoga Australia, and is a member of the International Menopause society.
Jess created For The Pause, to offer what she needed when she experienced menopause. She offers services that blend the latest global research with practical tools from positive psychology and yoga to support both body and mind. Jess is passionate about changing the way menopause is experienced, and passionate about helping people feel more informed, more empowered, and less alone during this era of life.
